Single-Cell RNA-Sequencing

Single-cell RNA sequencing is a very popular approach allowing the identification and investigation of different populations of cells within heterogeneous samples. The input material for library preparation is a suspension of individual cells. CFGenomics does not provide dissociation of cells/nuclei from tissues and requires customers to prepare the single-cell/single-nucleus suspension themselves. Dissociation protocols tend to vary by tissue type, and optimization/testing of the protocol prior to the actual experiment is highly recommended. The cell suspension should usually have > 90% viability and a minimal amount of cell-free RNA.

If you are interested in single cell sequencing, please contact us. Consultation of the experiment sufficiently in advance is inevitable to minimize errors in sample preparation, to properly organize the experiment and to obtain satisfactory data.

10x Genomics single-cell libraries

CF Genomics maintains Chromium Controller from 10x Genomics, which uses microfluidics to perform single cell partitioning and barcoding. As a standard service, we offer the preparation of 3-primed Single Cell Gene Expression libraries, in which up to 10,000 cells can be analysed from one sample. It is also possible to multiplex different biological samples into one experiment (thus reducing its cost) using the CellPlex kit, which can be found in our portfolio, as well.

Chromium Controller is compatible with other types of libraries/products such as Single Cell Immune Profiling and Single Cell ATAC that we do not offer by default. Preparation of such libraries is possible after purchasing your own kit.

After the service agreement, we kindly ask the customers to follow the cell suspension delivery guidelines.
