Standard library preparation methods

KAPA Library Preparation Kit with Covaris DNA fragmentation

Suitable for many sample types with moderate-high amount of DNA

KAPA HyperPrep Library Preparation Kit with Covaris DNA fragmentation

Suitable for many sample types with low-moderate amount of DNA, starting from 1 ng of DNA (including ChIP DNA, buccal swabs etc.)

NEBNext Ultra II Library Preparation Kit with Covaris DNA fragmentation

Suitable for many sample types with very low-moderate amount of DNA, starting from 100pg (including ChIP DNA, buccal swabs etc.)

Protocols can be modified on-demand (eg. enzymatic DNA fragmentation, PCR free protocols).

Target enrichment

Prepared DNA libraries may be enriched for specific sequences (usually coding or regulatory regions) by using biotinylated probes or PCR approach. Different predesigned assays are available on the market (exome, disease related genes, pathway specific etc.) or custom assays with user defined content may be designed. We offer TruSeq exome library preparation as standard service; other target enrichments may be done upon request including various exome kits (Roche Nimblegen, Agilent, IDT) or PCR based assays. For PCR based enrichments, specific equipment for highly parallel nanoliter volume PCR is available (Fluidigm AccessArray, Wafergen SmartChip).

Illumina TruSeq Exome library preparation

Suitable for human samples of 100ng DNA or more
